This community conversation is designed specifically for home visitors and supervisors working with families who are interested in enhancing their skills in engaging fathers during home visits. The session will provide practical support and tools, offering strategies to overcome barriers and strengthen connections with dads, ensuring their active participation in their children's development. Join us to engage in meaningful dialogue with others in the field.
The discussion will focus on identifying key challenges that may hinder effective father engagement and present actionable solutions that can be directly applied in the field. Participants will gain insights into the critical role fathers play in their children's lives, from providing emotional support to offering practical guidance, and how their involvement is associated with positive outcomes such as emotional stability, academic success, and improved social skills.
Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with specific case examples, questions, and challenges you experience working with families to enrich the conversation and help develop tailored approaches for more effective father engagement in home visits.
