Practice & Purpose is a monthly casual conversation series designed for home visiting professionals to share experiences, explore best practices, and grow together in community. The Institute for the Advancement of Family Support Professionals (InstituteFSP) will facilitate engaging discussions and peer connections. Participants will gain practical insights and renewed inspiration to support children and families. There are 2 sessions each month: One session is designed for home visitors to connect and share, the second session is for supervisors.
**THIS SESSION IS FOR HOME VISITORS ONLY**
JULY TOPIC: When Practice & Policy Collide
We will share and discuss common ethical issues that may pop up during home visits. We will focus on situations where the everyday practice of home visiting contradicts policies (for example: accepting food from a family you are visiting). Let's discuss how you handle these situations and how policies and practices collide. JOIN US!
